It was a really nice bounce-back week for The Sports Savant in Week 3 posting positive records in all three prediction categories for each game. My 11-5 clip in picking the straight up winner has brought me up around the season long win percentage I'm trying to stay around now at 30-18(.625) overall. A respectable 9-7 in the spread and over/under categories are always welcome. What was most surprising from my week is that I tied a personal best 7 Trifectas on the week! This means that I correctly predicted the winner, winner with spread and over/under all correctly for 7 of the 16 games played last week. In addition to that, for 4th time in my short NFL prognosticating career picking NFL games on record, I made a Perfect Team Score Prediction when I perfectly picked the score of the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos game last week. Now that's being on fire!
This week presents some challenging games to pick so Week 4 could be a big hitter for my records. Teams are starting to show us who and what they are going to be for the season so more analysis is being put into my picks as is the case near the beginning of each NFL season I pick all of the games.
